This wonderful antique Cabinet Card photograph of a baby outdoors was taken in 1884 in Nyack, New York by Henry Aretas Insley, son of the pioneer photographer Henry Early Insley. 

The baby in the photo is identified as William Haring Ryley, age 4 months. William Haring Ryley (1884-1888) was the son of "Squire" John Ryley (1852-1892) and Sophia Frances Haring (1850-1914). They also had 3 daughters:  Edna, Carrie, and Mabel.
