Plant in most any soil but it will need Full Sun to Partial Sun. Give plenty of water during first year to help establish this healthy tree. USDA Growing Zone 4b - 10

Fertilize dappled willow with a general purpose fertilizer (10-10-10) very early in spring before any growth begins. Somewhat heavy fertilization will help maintain its' foliage color, but don't overdo it. Shrubs for shade or sun.
