This radio was offered in the 2006 Freestar/Monterey but our research indicates it may work in the 2004 and 2005.  The part number has been provided.  It is up to you to determine if it will work in your vehicle.  There were often multiple part numbers for a given year, make and model.  Just because we say this was offered in the following vehicles and/or it looks like yours from the face does not mean it is the same as yours.  Double-check your part number.  Make sure this is the same or interchangeable.  If you have a part number that is the same other than the very last letter, this is compatible.  The last letter merely indicated what part of the year that particular radio was manufactured in.  It's the rest of the part number that tells what type of radio it is.  The first number usually indicates year.  It can usually differ, as long as everything else about the part number is the same.  (Except maybe the last letter, as indicated.)

This radio, like all new Ford radios, will likely require programming at your dealership for 100% functionality. You may notice issues with button back-lighting, steering wheel controls, etc until this programming is performed.  It is called 'As Built'.  This is not our doing.  You can thank Ford...
