✅ Aromatnaya Quince – Reliable Fruiter! Aromatnaya, is a round yellow quince from southern Russia, Extremely aromatic (thus the name!), with a fresh pineapple-like flavor, it will have a dense texture when first picked (October) but will soften up in a few days. Excellent cooked in sauces, butters, marmalades or preserves. Beautiful small self-fertile tree with pale pink blossoms in spring will be hung with the golden globes of quince by fall. Ornamental as well as very productive and disease resistant. Fruit ripens in September – October.
✅ Planting Instructions:
- Dig hole twice as wide and as deep as the pot
- Mix one part soil amendment into native soil of your garden.
- Never use potting soil with time release fertilizers in it, Most potting soils are expired and all nutrients are released already and contain dangerous levels which will burn the roots after transplantation. You can find packing date on the back side by the bar code it is TRM number.
-Loose plant's root base and place into the ground. Cover loosely.
- For best results, use Osmocote 14:14:14 slow release balanced plant food 1 month after planting it preferable in the springtime.
Don't fertilize it in the second half of the summer or right after planting.
✅ Plants are sent on Monday or Tuesday only to assure that it will not sit on a shelf over the weekend. The plants are sent secured in the box to prevent shifting.
