The Pentek 158643 3/8" #10 3G Slim Line clear filter housing is designed for residential Point of Use drinking water applications. The compact design with integrated bracket allows installation into area that have space restrictions. The housing is compatible with 10 x 2-1/2 inch size cartridges (sold separately). The sump is made of clear plastic that allows for on-site viewing of flow and cartridge condition, and the cap includes a pressure relief button that simplifies cartridge replacement. The cap has 3/8" female NPT threaded inlet and outlet connections. Also included is a rubber O-ring to ensure a watertight seal. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.Designed for most residential drinking water applications. Pentair housings allow installation of replaceable cartridges that fit inside housings designed to perform as a filtration system. Filtration systems can consist of a single stage or multiple stages, using one, two or more types of filter cartridges to reduce multiple contaminants. Water filtration systems are used in a wide range of drinking water applications including Point of Entry (whole home) installations and Point of Use (undersink applications).
