A rare early cell phone, likely produced by Panasonic in the 1980s, a true ancestor of modern mobile phones.
Although the exact name or model could not be identified, this unique black phone stands out as a collectible, with no identical match found during research.
While the phone is not in working condition, it is in remarkably good shape for its age, including the keypad, front, and back covers. It has no missing or broken parts. A side button opens the cover, revealing the keypad. Inside the cover, there’s a space for writing phone numbers on a small piece of paper.
The original rechargeable battery is still intact under the back cover, labeled:
Rechargable Battery
National Panasonic
Cordless Telephone Model 3 CTB.
This is a fantastic item for collectors or as a decorative piece.
