(Vicksburg April 30th 1866)
1866 Certification document for Captain William Henry Harris as member of the Confederate Company C of the legandary WAREEN RIFLES; 19th Regiment Mississippi Volunteers. Captain Harris was shot through the hips and became disabled at the Battle of Beaver Dam Creek May 27th 1862. The document further states he is unable to serve ( support) and is a resident of Vicksburg Warren County State of Mississippi.
