CDV Photo Bethel,Ct. Civil War Soldier Isaac J. Williams 23rd Regiment

A special lot of two cdv photographs of Mr. & Mrs. Isaac J. Williams of Bethel, Connecticut. This lot includes his obituary which details his life. Isaac Williams was a veteran of the Civil War enlisting in the 23^rd regiment. As the newspaper clipping states by trade he was an early well-known hatter which he shown in the cdv photograph.  The image was taken from a daguerreotype and shows Mr. Williams with the tools of the trade. The other cdv photograph shows Mrs. Williams.
