Photograph showing a beautiful orange grove of Edwin P. and Maria C. Hiser, brother and sister in Orange,California.
 

Allow me to point out that this brother and sister also owned orange groves in Florida. In fact they were involved in a noted Supreme Court case in Florida. This case can be found by researching Asia v. Hiser, 22 Fla. 378 (1886)

The photograph shows two Victorian dressed ladies walking through the grove. Obviously there had to be a reason this photograph was taken outside of dragging a photographer out in the middle of an orange grove to photograph a moment of leisure.
