This fine cabinet card photograph is one of several from the Reed family archive that I purchased at a book store recently in Norway, Maine in Oxford County. This particular portrait shows Florena Reed of Walterboro, Maine in Lincoln County. Florena was wife of Penas Reed whose cabinet photograph is presently listed in my store. There is a description by a family member on the verso of his connection to the Reed family. He is buried at a small family cemetery on Winslow Mills road in Lincoln County. His actual gravestone can be found on ‘Find a Grave’ website. I have included a photo of his tombstone in this description.
