Beebalm is a traditional favorite for the perennial border, with a striking display of richly colored flowers through the summer months. This selection features oversized shaggy heads in red with pink undertones. Foliage is delightfully fragrant, and significantly more resistant to powdery mildew than most older varieties. A favorite of both butterflies and hummingbirds. Beebalm spreads quickly: reduce clump size in early spring. Garden selections all have been bred from native North American wildflower species.
