Create professional PVC joints with one convenient package: Christy's Regular Body Clear PVC Cement and Purple Primer, each in an 8oz can perfect DIY work. Christy's Clear PVC Pipe Cement is preferred by contractors due to its high bond strength for smaller diameter pipes and fittings, as well as its clear color for exposed installations. Joints can be handled within 10 minutes of application and will cure within 24 hours, depending on pipe size. Enjoy fewer odors due to the cement's low-VOC composition. Use this regular body cement for water applications, as well as both pressure and non-pressure systems and conduit, duct, DWV, drain, and sewer applications except for Schedule 80 PVC. It is rated for PVC pipes up to 4" in diameter interference fit. Christy's Purple Primer prepares mating surfaces for cement adhesion by penetrating and softening the surfaces of PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. This primer works on all sizes of PVC.
