"Parallel Lines", by Peter Elson and Chris Moore, (1981) RARE Sci-fi Art Book
This is a classic Sci-Fi art book
from 1981. This is extremely rare, and is a compilation of oil paintings
on canvas, 1970s era sci-fi artwork by these 2 artists. Both of them
had art featured in the extremely popular TTA (Terran Trade Authority)
series of sci-fi books. This is a real treat, if you're as big a fan of Peter Elson as I am.
This is the softcover version of this fantastic book, in very good condition. Pages are very good + and are not loose, and have no tears or writing. The covers show some some tiny bits of wear mostly around the edges, but no tears. There is no writing anywhere on the book. This great book is 87 pages long. The artwork itself is most often a full page in size, with a few smaller ones and several works spanning 2 pages as well. It was printed in the Netherlands, and I purchased it from the United Kingdom several years ago. It is now ready to go to another enthusiast of this type of art, and a fan of the late Peter Elson in particular.
Sci-fi Artist Book

Contributing Artists and Number of Images - Peter Elson (31) and Chris Moore (30).
From the Internet:
Though not a TTA book of any description,
Parallel Lines deserves a mention because it features artwork from two
of the contributors to the series, Peter Elson and Chris Moore. Both immensely popular artists, the book is divided roughly equally between
their respective works, showcasing some of their art up to the published
date of 1980. An introduction is provided by another of the greats of
sci-fi artwork, Roger Dean. Little text other than an introduction is
added as part of the showcase, other than the works original title - but
the quality of the work speaks itself. Unfortunately Peter Elson is no
longer with us, having passed away unexpectedly in 1999.
Wonderful stuff for the sci-fi fan with a big imagination!
