Japanese antique silver/bronze "kozuka" handle featuring lions (lions were believed as guardians of god and most of shrines have placed a pair of them made of stone for outside entrance or wooden ones for inside).  Featuring three lions at play, with raised nanako-ji, signifying the ray skin of a sword. It is unsigned and is missing some of the inlay, also some scratching and dirt due to the age of the item.
