This beautiful porcelain dessert bowl was made by Meito. The pattern name is Garland. It features delicate hand painted pink roses on a white and cream background. It was made in Japan during the 1950s. It was also referred to as a fruit bowl, and a saucer bowl. It measures approximately 5 1/4 inches across the top, and stands approximately 1 1/4 inches deep. There is some wear to the gold trim, and there is minor wear to the design of the bowl, but nothing that would distract from its beauty. It would display well with other vintage porcelain bowls from the same time period.
