Effortless Desoldering
The desoldering gun enables one-handed desoldering operation on a broad range of through-hole components. The desoldering station is especially suitable for desoldering in-line sockets, transformers, LCD screens, nixie tube displays, IC chips, and in-line headers. The station pre-heats for 5 minutes to ensure the entire desoldering mechanism is heated sufficiently to give you a smooth desoldering experience.
Timer-Controlled Sleep Mode
The desoldering station comes with a timer controlled sleep mode function. You can customize the timer duration, and once the timer countdown is finished (and the iron/gun wasn’t moved), the station puts the desoldering gun to idle at 392°F to prevent unnecessary oxidation while keeping sufficient heat in the tool to heat up quickly. (NOTE: This timer overlaps with the automatic shut-down timer, DO NOT set the duration longer than your current automatic shut-down timer duration)
Timer-Controlled Automatic Shut-Down
You can set a timer for the station to count down to, once turned ON, the station will begin counting down. The station will automatically shut-down when the timer countdown is finished. (NOTE: This timer overlaps with the sleep mode timer, DO NOT set the duration shorter than your current sleep mode timer duration)
Detachable Gun Design
The desoldering gun is designed as a detachable tool for easy replacement. So you don’t need to ditch the entire station if the desoldering gun or its heating element reachest their maximum lifespan.
