1978 Letter & Congressional Record - Senate Excerpts Regarding the Death of Ex-Vice President & Minnesota Senator Hubert Humphrey.
The letter comes from the US Senate Office of the Chaplin, Edward LR Elson. Letter is on the Reverend's stationary, but was NOT signed
by him as noted on the letter. The copied H Res 126 is NOT the original & is a photocopy, but appears to have an actual Humphrey signature.
Included are 2 excerpts from the Congressional Record giving mention of both the private & state funerals for the late Vice President & Senator, Hubert
Humphrey. The letter is in good condition, but may have a bit of discoloration. The corners are still sharp, with one small bend. The Record excerpts are
NOT photocopies. They are newspaper or an encyclopedia type paper & are heavily discolored like an old newspaper would be, but other that that are
free from ceases or tears. One is dated January 19, 1978 & the other is dated February 8, 1978 with type on both sides. Please see photos.
