Philippine Lily
Lilium Philippinese
100+ Seeds

The Philippine Lily grows naturally all over one of our damp mini-farms.
It's a really beautiful flower that attracts many bees to the pollen when in bloom.

We visited the flowers this Summer and came to pick the seeds by Fall.
The seed pods starting forming, growing and turning brown.
Each seed pod is just FULL of seeds!

We were sure it was a Florida Native because it grows in bunches here in the Florida Panhandle.
Turns out, it is native to Taiwan!

We read that the seeds do not store too well.
It's best to plant them right after harvest.
Our farm is storing the seeds in our totally dark cold-room.
