Our base material is .5mm thin and is comparable to a rugged spray on truck liner, but instead of spraying it on…you simply peel it off the backing, align it where you want it, and stick it on. After you are sure of your placement, gentle heat from a heat gun or hair dryer sets the adhesive in place for a secure, long lasting (yet easily removed with heat) protection against the elements. Our 19 Piece Universal kit contains over 21” of 2” wide protection for your Downtube, over 20” of protection that is .9” wide (perfect for your Chain stays, seat stays, or seat tube), pieces to protect your Headtube from cable slap, and enough extra to put where you decide your riding style and environment needs protection.
