This is an upgraded candle making wax melter, or lost wax injector for any type of wax work.  The drain valve is approx 1/4" stream, so when the pot is full you can pour a candle very quickly.  This will hold a lot of wax.  Arbe calculates it to 1.33 quarts, but is leaving a good amount of head space for air pressure.  It holds up to 310 cubic inches of wax without any air which comes out to around 1/2 gallon.  The way we used it was to pour half the wax out, fill it back up and go to the next pot.  By the time we finished our 4th pot, the first one was melted enough to go again.  We used the 12" long thermometers to stir the wax and then keep the plugs away from the valve.  This system is designed for production and with 2-4 of these pots you will pour faster than you can cool and dump your molds!

We are launching this ad with 4 total pots for sale.  We have some extra new parts we bought years ago which could either rebuild another old Arbe pot or have a spares for these.  We also kept some original valves and nozzles, there is a whole box of parts.  Whoever wants to buy all these or multiple pots, we can include extra parts for you.  The brand new Brass valves are very stiff, and we didn't like that.  Strongly recommend taking them apart and polishing the brass mating surfaces or sanding with 3000 grit sand paper and loosening up the fit of the brass a bit.

Improvements:  Pretty much everything is NEW and time tested in these.  All the twist knobs are the brand new heat resistant ones that don't crack or burn your fingers.  We added a thermostatically controlled soldering iron to the pour valve so it is always ready to pour.  This is wired into the electrical cord so it is always powered.  The thermostat always has power, but you can turn it off if you don't need it.  You can set the temparature very low so you won't burn whatever wax is inside the vessel.  These are designed to run parafin, beeswax, or any type or blend of wax from a very low 125 degrees up to 250+.  The soldering iron is fixed to the valve with heat transfer wire, so it takes about 1 minute to warm up enough so the valve can drain.  We left the iron on all the time.  We sent the thermostat around 6-7 to just barely keep the valve warm enough to drain.  These drain valves are stiff, so the pliers make it super easy to turn but also gives you a handle that you will not burn your hand with!  The pot itself will rotate so mounted it to a square board and put the pots on a roller track with rails so the pot wouldn't turn.  To AVOID ripples in the wax product, we moved the pot to the next mold instead of trying to move the mold while it was not solid on top.  You want to pour and let it set until the wax cures on top at least 1/8" thick for best results.  You want to run your temperature just high enough to get a good pour for speed!  We spent a lot of time trying many different things until we figured out this roller track solution.  Our track was 10' long, so we could set up a ton of molds in a straight line with multiple pots and pour 100's of pounds per day!  For any kind of wax injection or pouring, this is the best system you can get!  Always drain your pot at the end of the day into ingot molds if not making product or not close to empty.  When you start the pot with more than 1/2" wax in it, it takes too long to liquefy.  The wax melts from the sides of the pot, so lots of little blox melt so much faster to get going in 1/2 hour instead of 2 hours.  You don't want to burn your wax!

A very annoying feature of these injection wax machines is you always had to heat the drain valve with a mini torch each time to get wax out of it, no matter how hot the pot was.  With our upgrade this drain valve is always ready to pour.  This upgrade makes these machines always ready to either inject wax or pour wax.  This extra feature allows you to use the pot for candle making and so many other types of projects besides air injection.  NEVER try to open the drain valve with AIR ATTACHED.  This will make for a very bad day.  The drain valve is gravity fed only and the injection nozzle is for air pressure only!

This is an amazing lost wax injection machine Company.  We used these units a few days per year for another wax project as we are not in the jewelry or the casting business.  We completely refurbished these with 100% new brass valves, injection nozzles, lid gaskets, heating elements, and thermostats.  These were made in the USA with extremely high quality components designed to last for decades.
