Coupling for a Borg Warner Velvet Drive 72 Series Transmissions.
It is a 5.0 Inch Fine spline with a thin wall.

Used on older higher ratio transmissions (2.57 and 2.91) ratios that have a 6 bolt seal holder behind this coupling.

Also used on 1004 and 1005 series V-Drive Transmissions that have a seal holder that is held on with HEX HEAD Bolts (NOT Socket or Allen Head Bolts).
This item replaces Borg Warner # 4912.
