Handmade in the United States using clay from Wetumpka, Alabama.
This vintage Original Alabama Clay art pottery ashtray features butterscotch orange swirls and is signed by the artist MAX.
The square shape measures 6 inches in length and 5.75 inches in width, with a height of 1 5/8 inches at it's tallest.
It has 2 cigarette rests. Or should work for slim cigars.
EXCELLENT CONDITION ~ No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or damage.
There are remnants of it's original label on the bottom, which I did not try to remove.
This original piece is perfect for your Mid-Century Modern decor or ashtray collection.
Suitable for display, or can be used for it's intended purpose, as an ashtray.
