Victorian Era hand painted Bisque Nodder figurines. The Man wears wire glasses and holds a slice of Watermelon. The Woman wears wire glasses & holds a Basket. Woman Nodder is impressed 2080 I. Inside bottom 6 or 9. Man just 3. Made pre-1900, probably from Germany.
Size: Man is 8" high, Woman 7 3/4". Weigh 2 1/8 lbs.
Condition: There are no cracks or chips. Defects are noted: Woman is in great condition with one glaze chip at the neck line. Man is in great condition with a glaze chip on back & one metal pin in head missing. Missing metal pin in head (can be replaced). Offered As Found. Difficult to find.
