This statue is HUGE! I went back and forth trying to decide if his depicted garb was from the Tudor/Elizabethan era or later Victorian era. I have went with the latter, but in all honesty, it could be a depiction of either.
Measures approx. 10" H x 8" L x 6.5" W.
HEAVY - Weighs 6 Lbs.!
Seems to be high quality. Sadly, it is unmarked so I do not know the exact age or maker. I know that it dates back to the 1980s, at the very least, though it is possible it is older.
VERY GOOD CONDITION ~ This statue looks amazing on display. Overall bright and shiny. Just a bit of tarnish, and some loss of plating in areas such as the creases on the neck ruff, and between the fingers. Not enough to detract from overall appeal/appearance. Actually adds somewhat to its vintage charm.
Thiis is a very impressive statue. It is certain to add a touch of sophistication to your home decor. The intricate details of the period clothes, and silver finish make it a perfect addition to any room. It would be a standout piece in a collection. Could even be used as a doorstop, if one so desired.
I also have a matching girl child statue if you are interested.
