Fair condition. Shaken, with broken hinges. Literally dozens of end-of-school autographs and stickers all over the book, in the margins: they were careful to use margins and blank pages as much as possible. The sewn text block remains tight, the pages have some smudges (both graphite and thumbs). A unique survivor from a simpler age. 

We will be happy to provide two strips of linen tape to tighten up the binding. We haven't done the repair because it may impact some of the memos. Just ask, it should be the new owner's choice.

Werner, the publisher who holds the copyright occupied the same buildings here in town that Saalfield did later. I believe that Werner spun off its children's department into Saalfield.
