This beautiful illustration of a cat sleeping in a typical comfy position is called, Sketch of a Curled Up Cat.

It was another of Dutch artist Jean Bernard's animal sketches, done in 1825 in pencil and chalk on paper.

Bernard was born in Amsterdam, Holland, in 1765. He became well known for his sketches of animals, plants, flowers, landscapes and portraits.

He died in Amsterdam in 1833.
