This is a 1940s era custom signed Coro Sterling butterfly brooch. Certain stores offered the ability to sign or personalize these brooches in house, as such, this is signed “From Fred 1940” where it would display Coro’s markings. As a result, this piece got stamped “sterling” twice. It features some cool multicolored stones set in vermeil silver.
