­This item is not plug and play.  It requires calibration with the body control module which can be done with scan tool ob2d system; but depending on the issues your vehicles has, Tech 2 Diagnostics or Tech2 Win (GM programming software) may be needed to recalibrate the entire vehicle.  This is not plug and play.
