Vintage TENO AURELIO (1927-2013) RARE Sterling Silver & Quartz African Black Woman With Headdress RARE. This piece is absolutely stunning. Aurelio Teno was a Spanish artist of great talent and popularity. In fact, he was commissioned to do a monument of Don Quijote outside of the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. The figure is made of 925 sterling silver and quartz and sits on a marble or quartz base (I am not a rock expert). The figure is in beautiful condition but there is an edge of the base that looks to have been repaired. There is felt on the bottom of the base and label on the front of the base that says "A. Teno.". The base measures approximately 2.75 inches by 2.75 inches and the piece is about 10.5 inches tall and weighs in at about 4.5 pounds. This is a beautiful piece and would make an amazing addition to your collection. Due to the collectible nature of this piece, I will not be accepting any returns so please ask any questions you have prior to purchase and I will be glad to help. This piece will be securely packaged to protect it from damage during transit. See photos for additional details or feel free to ask any questions you may have.
