Description
This is a lovely set of six (6) antique Austria porcelain ramekins and underplates or saucers.
So charming, with their little nosegays of pink roses and purple violets, and delicate gold trim.
Marked on the back, but I can only make out the word "Austria."
They look like the late 1800s to me.
Perfect to serve puddings, pots de creme, mousse, fruit cups, soup or boullion and more!
They would also be sweet little finger bowls.
The ramekins have scalloped rims. I love how they are decorated inside AND outside..
They are 3 1/2" in diameter at the rim, about 2 3/8" in diameter at the base. About 1 5/8" deep.
The saucers are 5 1/4" in diameter.
I am also including two EXTRA saucers.
CONDITION
Overall, these present beautifully. They are not perfect, however.
Two of the saucers have tight hairline cracks - nothing major, and not that noticeable.
One of the ramekins has a tight hairline crack on the scalloped rim.
One ramekin has a very tiny fleabite chip on the underside of the rim.
Some scattered very light wear on the gold decoration.
No chips.
From a smoke-free home.
