Great set of vintage Griffith's brand spice jars are made of white milk glass, with black lettering and red lids. This set of 15 jars includes: Cayenne Pepper, Allspice, Ginger, Nutmeg, Epicure Salt, Paprika, Bay Leaf, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Garlic Salt, Mustard, Chili Seasoning, Poultry Seasoning, Roastmeat Seasoning, and Clove. They measure approx. 3 5/8" tall, and 1 3/8" square. All of the jars have plastic shaker lids---one, in particular, is yellowed from years of exposure to the spices. There is only very minor wear to the black lettering. A few of the lids have some rust on the inside, the outsides have a few small rust spots on the sides, and some areas of paint wear along the edge. The red is still bright, and considering their age, they look pretty darned good! The jars themselves have no chips or cracks.
