This is an oil on canvasboard of a desert landscape, 8” x 10” by sight, signed at lower left “Farrington.” It is framed and in very good condition.
Biography for Walter Moses Farrington (1874-1947: Born in Sterling, Illinois on April 17, 1874. Moses studied at the AIC before settling in Los Angeles in 1923. He taught there at the Art Guild Academy in 1930 and remained in Los Angeles until his death on October 25, 1947. He was the author-illustrator of "Artistic Anatomy".
