Here are some leashes that the clasps got wet (not the nylon leash) and white scale appeared. I wire brushed most of it off each one and the clasp thumb button works fine. They were never used. Roughly 44", This "short" leash has a rugged rubber D shaped handle so tugging won't bother your hand. Comes in 4 colors of Red, Green, Blue & Black.
