Making Candles with 7 Different Kinds of Wax
“I did not know that the world of candle making was so diverse!” – Sue B., Homemaking Vlogger
Did you know that there are many different kinds of wax you can make candles out of? Ever wondered why some Candles cost only a couple of bucks when other candles cost 10 times more? The answer is simple; the cost depends on the type of wax the candle is made from.
As I was writing this book, I noticed almost all of the candle making books here only discuss just two most popular wax types, i.e., Soy and Beeswax. But how about the other 5? Most cheaply priced candles we buy are not made from those two types of wax because both Soy and beeswax are rather pricey. I started out with Paraffin wax since it is cheap and could experiment with it without breaking the bank. Once I became good at making candles, only then did I switch to Soy and beeswax.
Would you like to know how to start making (and selling) candles? If so, my book is for you!
Everything I know about candles is in my book.
Surviving the winter in London would not be quite the same without candles. I have found that my friends and family have come to expect a candle every Boxing Day from me. You would think they would be bored of my intense hobby, but the one year I did not make everyone candles, they all complained incessantly! It has become a great tradition for us.

With the market currently flooded with candles that contain different fragrances, types (from beeswax to coconut wax), and qualities, choosing the right one has become a daunting task.
