The Cherry Prinsepia is a thorned shrub with edible fruit that is native to Manchuria. The ¾” red fruit can be eaten raw or cooked, & can be uséd in jams, juices, & pies. They have a taste similar to a cherry, & are slightly tart, but in a good way. The fruit is high in Vitamin C & antioxidants. As mentioned above, Cherry Prinsepia can grow in part shade, but they will produce more flowers & fruit in the sun.
