This vintage postcard captures the Frontier Army of Dakota during the June 17, 1989, dedication of the Custer House at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, Mandan, North Dakota. The Custer House was reconstructed on the exact site of the original 1875 quarters. The photograph was taken by Sheldon Green and published by the Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation in 1991.
