Excellent condition with no issues found. Original 1960s items. Multiples available. Each set is a plate and a cup.
Cup fits nicely in the indent on the plate, making it possible to eat with your plate on your lap while seated (not so easy with paper plates!). Before paper plates, these were used for bridge nights, bridal and baby showers, holiday dinners, and buffets. My mother in law had about 30 sets of these to be used when there were more people to be fed than could be seated. Much nicer than paper plates, and dishwasher safe.
- Cups hold 6 ounces
- Plates are 10 X 6.5 inches
If you are planning a shower or any other get together for a crowd, here's a great punch recipe (non-alcoholic):
- 2 liter of 7-UP
- 1/2 gallon of orange juice
- Scoops of sherbet in colors to match the occasion to float in the punch bowl
- Ice
For the alcoholic version use only 1 quart of orange juice and add a bottle of champagne or sparkling wine.
