This is a very nice coin to own and collect. It’s in excellent condition.

This dollar honors the Shoshone woman whose skills as a guide and interpreter were crucial for the success of the Lewis and Clark expedition of 1804-1806. Only 15 years old at the start of this epic journey, Sacagawea gave birth to a son along the way, and carried him in a cradleboard over land to the Pacific coast and back!
