This is a wonderful little Burro or Donkey that was introduced in 1985 and was part of the Artesania Rinconada Classic Collection, number 193. It is now retired and becoming hard to find. It is in excellent condition and comes complete with the saddlebags, blue and white striped serape or blankets and the aR advertisement booklet in the bags. It comes with the original box (which does show some age).

Since 1972 Artesania Rinconada has been producing ceramic design items of the finest quality in Montevideo, Uruguay. They have become internationally known for the unique character and personality of their figurines. The Artesania Rinconada figurines were designed by Jesus and Javier Carbajales. Loosely translated the company's name means "art of the corner," and refers to the designs beginnings in the corner of the family home. This adorable little burro is done in ceramic with white enamel and has been hand painted. The bottom has been signed with the initials "aR". It measures approximately 3 inches long by 3 1/4 inches tall. This would make a great addition to your collection of Rinconada figurines or a great gift to anyone who collects or owns donkeys.
