Begonia chloroneura
is a gorgeous species from the Philippines. This species was collected at Dalton Pass by J. Atwood in 1987. It was distributed by Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. At one time it was U251. The medium sized leaves are a rich reddish brown with showy chartreuse veins. The leaf blade is covered short red hairs. This makes a magnificent full specimen. It does require extra humidity and is frequently grown in a terrarium.
