3 ORIGINAL ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER SERVING SPOONS
Total weight 227.9 grams.
Left Spoon: ALVIN c1905 "OLD ORANGE BLOSSOM" pattern. Heavy Art Nouveau design on front and back, with a gold wash scalloped bowl. Alvin Maker's Marks, PATENT and STERLING on back. Spoon measures 7-3/4" long by 2-5/16" wide. Weight: 76.1 grams. Monogram: It has one but I can not make it out.
Middle Spoon: RM&S. Not sure of this one, but pattern looks like lilies. Heavy Art Nouveau design on front and back. Has Maker's Mark, RM&S and STERLING on back. Spoon measures 9-1/8" long by 2-7/8" wide. Weight: 81.4 grams. Monogram: EBL
Right Spoon: TOWLE c1934 "CANDLELIGHT" pattern. Design on front only with Maker's Mark TOWLE, STERLING, PAT. 1934 and CANDLELIGHT on back. Spoon measures 8-7/16" long by 1-13/16" wide. Weight: 70.4 grams. Monogram: VHR
These spoons had a HEAVY PATINA, but I spent 5 minutes with some metal polish to show you that they can be cleaned up. Of course they need more polishing (preferably with a polishing machine), but they have the potential to be shiny, if that is your desire. They are without dents or pattern damage. Make sure to examine the photos.
