ATI Radeon 7000 PCI Mac Edition video card 64mb. This card was made by ATI all the way in 2002 as an outstanding upgrade path for older Macs. Forget about just a few Megabytes of video memory that was included on most beige Mac’s. This card not only matches the 32Mb that was originally released by ATI but doubles it to 64Mb. I see some reports that ATI planned on releasing a 64Mb Mac Edition 7000 but I have never seen one. This card was modified from the PC variant into a Mac power house.

This card is for a PCI slot NOT AGP. PCI is the rarer of the cards released and definitely more sought after.

All cards are tested and photos show dual monitor functionality through VGA and DVI-I. Go single monitor on any output or double it up, your choice. Also see photos that the OS is reporting the full 64Mb and is ready to go for more memory intensive games and applications.

Included is a CD with all drivers released by ATI. There is a .pdf in the root of the folder to give you a detailed description of OS supported and the like. It’s also available here https://gona.mactar.hu/ATI_Mac/

I have included the 4 floppy disks for installation back to OS 7.6.. These drivers were produced by a third party and not ATI. ATI officially made drivers starting from OS 8 on up which are all on the CD.

You will get a color laser printed original manual, the driver CD, an S-Video cable and of course the PCI video card. This will be properly packaged and placed in an anti static bag.

Install the driver first then carefully install the actual card. The very first time you power up the machine it will give a black screen. This is normal and mentioned in the manual. Let the machine boot up and then restart the computer to receive video. This is a one time procedure.

Take this opportunity to own one of the finest upgrades available for old Macs. I have a certain supply of these (around 45) and when they are gone they are gone.

Thanks for looking!
