antique Qing Dynasty Chinese earrings

hand carved mutton fat jade in fine gilt silver.

 3" long by 1" wide (76mm x 26mm).

pair weigh approximately 19.8 grams. Each earring therefore weighing around 9.9 grams.

The pair are in good condition overall. The mutton fat jade carvings are in excellent condition. There is some wear to the gilded finish on the silver commensurate with the age and authenticity of these earrings. The silver being almost pure silver is quite soft and the earring hooks are slightly bent and slightly different on each side to be expected for this precious metal in it's pure state.

These are an exceptionally rare pair of genuinely antique Chinese earrings with exceptional mutton fat jade drops.

The photos form part of the description. Like all colored stones there is a color variation that occurs in different lighting conditions both inside but also outside, even the time of day can make the color of a stone appear a little different. We do our best to show colors as we see them. Color perception is highly individual and some people can perceive more colors than others, also colors can appear somewhat different on different screens and devices due to variations in screen hardware and device display settings.
