Yeh-Foh:
A quaint Chinese folk tale that is ageless in its appeal. Chinese customs, religious beliefs, and the general life are very accurately portrayed.
Yen-Foh was the guiding spirit of his playmates in all their adventures throughout the story. He was very intelligent and very wise, and the various episodes in this folk tale demonstrate how excellent was his judgement.
Ling Grandson of Yen-Foh:
LING, like YEN-FOH, is adapted from an old Chinese folk tale. It has the same quaint Old World atmosphere and charm.
In LING we again meet Yen-Foh. He is now an illustrious grandfather whose wisdom is famous throughout China.
Kurt Wiese, who formerly lived for many years in China, has done the pictures which appear in both books.
