Born Margaretha Zelle, she was better known as her state name, Mata Hari. On stage she was the Dutch exotic dancer. Offstage she was a well-known courtesan of Europe. During WWI, she was convicted as being a German spy and executed by a firing squad in France.

While the original image was not of the highest quality, I believe this photo print reproduction will still be of interest to collectors of Mata Hari photos, historians and lovers of exotic dancers.
