This is a vintage Proctor-Silex Steam and Dry iron, model I117B, in black. I don't know exactly how old it is, just that it has those old-fashioned kind of prongs on the plug, and it's been in my family since at least back when my mom's car had an 8-track deck in it. Anyway, it's old, but it works fine. It has definitely been used (a lot, and by multiple generations), so it shows some wear here and there, but nothing major. The bottom, or the flat part that comes into contact with your garments (sorry I don't know the names of iron parts) has some kind of buildup or something on it that I've always just ignored, but you could scrub it with a steel wool pad and it would probably go away. I think it's from whatever weird stuff my mom used to spray on clothes; I don't think it's rust because that would have come off on any light-colored fabric I was ironing... Right? I don't know for sure, I just know I ignored it (for like at least 30 years myself) and it never affected anything I was ironing. There are no issues with the electrical cord or anything. It's a good iron, I just don't need it anymore. Asking $10.00 obo. Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer.
