The St. Gaya pitcher plant is an impressive plant with striking pitchers. Like most Nepenthes, St. Gaya is easy-to-grow and readily adapts. The first picture is a more mature plant; the second picture shows one similar to what we ship, give or take a few inches or pitchers.
• Average mature height: 18 inches
• Cold hardiness: St. Gaya is a highland Nepenthes, which means it prefers 65 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and no lower than 45 to 65 degrees at night.
• Light: Bright, diffused light
• Soil: Grows well in peat/perlite, or sphagnum moss. Keep moist.
• Zone: 10-12
Plant Size
A baby plant, that is 1-4 inches tall, will arrive at your home in a 2-ounce pot (fly traps and sundews) or 3-inch-deep pot (pitcher plants). Then, raise your new baby to maturity under your caring, green thumb.
