THERE IS ENOUGH MATERIAL IN THE WAIST TO BE LET OUT AS MUCH AS 4 INCHES. THE INSEAM ON EACH OF THESE PANTS HAVE 1 TO 2 INCHES SO THAT THE INSEAM CAN BE LET IN LONGER AND OF COURSE SHORTENED IF NEEDED.

These pants have been around since the Vietnam Era and is worn as Class Bs or with the shirts which are Class As .. These pants is still regulation worn by Retirees and Members who served to Include our ROTC Cadets and JROTC.

ALL RETIREES AND VETERANS ARE STILL AUTHORIZED TO WEAR THIS UNIFORM, THIS IS A U.S. ARMY AUTHORIZED UNIFORM AND IS AR 670-1 REGULATION. PER REGULATION THIS UNIFORM CAN BE WORN BY ANY RETIREE OR VETERAN WHO SERVED DURING ITS WEAR OUT DATE, IF YOU WERE IN THE SERVICE FOR 180 DAYS THIS UNIFORM CAN BE WORN. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST KNOWN UNIFORMS THE ARMY HAS EVER HAD, ITS TENURE IS FROM 1954 - 2015

Wearing a uniform as a veteran is permitted during special occasions “typically centered around military service and family events” including military funerals, military weddings, social events, attend ceremonies or social functions, when wearing a uniform is required by the terms of the invitations of customs of the country.
"Uniforms for the Final Salute." It ensures that those veterans can be buried in a military uniform from their branch of service.
