Legacy Arms Feast Knife (IP-005)

9" Overall, 4.5" 5160 High Carbon Spring Steel Blade

Imported by CAS Iberia and usually sold out. Legacy Arms is a small forge based in the Philippines and supply doesn't keep up with demand. I'm selling for the manufacturer's MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) of $35.00.

As a re-enactor it is difficult to find a good quality multi-purpose dagger. This excellent little Medieval Feast Dagger is perfect for carrying at events. It features a forged high carbon spring steel blade and beautiful hardwood handle. Designed for feast or those little "around the camp" tasks that pop up. Leather scabbard with belt loop included. 5/5 star ratings online.

This is a great all round utility knife for re-enactors and Medieval persona as well as aficionados that want a nice little all purpose knife and appreciate the rustic handmade look.

Comments: The materials, workmanship and quality control of these knives is excellent. Solid construction for a lifetime of use. I expect you’ll be pleased. I inspect these, take my own photos and measurements, add my own description. Recommended. Some minor flaws consistent with being handmade are possible but really part of the rustic look. I only tell you this in case you're expecting to get a shiny factory manufactured knife. These are rugged. These are real. Use overhand grip to pin hand of the person trying to steal your giant turkey leg to the table, reverse for a pommel strike if said person is a friend :) I’m a collector, a re-enactor and a weekend warrior, active in my local HEMA group and Renaissance Fairs so I get lots of feedback. * 5160 is a very high-end steel extremely popular with forgers. It is essentially a simple spring steel with chromium added for hardenability. It has good edge holding, but is known especially for its outstanding durability (like L-6). Often used for swords (hardened in the low 50s Rc) because of its toughness, and also used for hard use knives (hardened up near the 60s Rc).
