The scar, caused by an early injury, is noticeable in the fingerprint. The entire Fingerprint Edition comprised approximately 2500 copies, and the Scarred Ring Finger print portion of the print-run was approximately 50 to 500 copies, (four other fingers were used for fingerprints for this entire edition). Set during WWII in Regina Beach, New Jersey, with a focus on radio (of which Dunning was a scholar and renowned expert), in a community of radio artists and technicians, featuring Jack Jack Dulaney searching for a singer's missing father. Fine, tight, square and firm in black linen boards over smooth blue boards with silver embossed titles to the spine, red headband and tail-band; in a fine dust jacket illustrated by Shasti O'Leary; Silver 'Fingerprint edition' sticker to the front panel, original printed $26.00 price still intact to the front inner flap.
